• Benjamin J. Stevens, 34, Bowler, was charged March 6 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of THC, with intent (less than or equal to 200 grams) and one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge Katherine Sloma set a signature bond of $2,000 and scheduled a resumed initial appearance for April 5.

• Dean L. Hopinka, 55, Wittenberg, was charged March 6 with one count of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer and three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 24.

• Bobbi L. Caldwell, 47, Shawano, was charged March 6 with one count of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possessing/illegally obtaining a prescription. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 15.

• Violet L. Dixon, 35, Neopit, was charged March 6 with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a signature bond of $1,000 and scheduled a resumed initial appearance for April 26.

• Kaitlyn L.M. Pingel, 19, Bowler, was charged March 6 with one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), three counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 16.

• Robert W. Carey, 50, Shawano, pleaded no contest March 6 to two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, one count of strangulation and suffocation and six misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Two misdemeanor counts of battery, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and 12 misdemeanor counts of bail jumping were dismissed, but read into the record. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge William Kussel Jr. sentenced Carey to nine months in jail and four years of probation.

• Kathryn M. Camacho, 66, Keshena, was found guilty at jury trial March 6 with two counts of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Camacho was also found not guilty of one count of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), one count of operating with prohibited alcohol content (fifth offense), one misdemeanor count of attempted criminal damage to property and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.

Sloma sentenced Camacho to 180 days in jail and two years of probation.

• Madonna D. Pecore, 53, Gresham, was charged March 7 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a signature bond of $1,000 and scheduled a resumed initial appearance for April 5.

• Matthew C. Malone, 39, Bowler, was charged March 8 with three counts of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, 11 counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, one misdemeanor count of attempted criminal damage to property, four misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $5,000 and scheduled an initial appearance for March 8.

In a separate case, charges against Malone were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Those charges include three counts of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, seven counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct.

• Robert J. Brewer, 39, Keshena, pleaded no contest March 8 to one count of bail jumping. Sloma sentenced Brewer to 45 days in jail.

• Kandice L. Maskewit, 40, Keshena, pleaded no contest March 8 to one count of operating a vehicle to flee/elude an officer. Sloma sentenced Maskewit to six months in jail.

• Tiana B. Webster, 43, Bowler, was charged March 9 with two counts of possession of narcotic drugs, five counts of bail jumping and three misdemeanor counts of possessing/illegally obtaining a prescription. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for March 28.

• Danielle J. Julius, 33, Neopit, pleaded no contest March 9 to one count of possession of narcotic drugs and two counts of bail jumping. One count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possessing/illegally obtaining a prescription was dismissed, but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Julius to 180 days in jail and three years of probation.

• Bradley T. Janssen, 32, Shawano, pleaded no contest March 9 to one count of possession of methamphetamine, three counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of possession of THC and one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. Two counts of bail jumping and two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed, but read into the record. Kussel sentenced Janssen to three years in prison, three years of extended supervision and three years of probation.

• Charges against Mary A. LaRock, 42, Neopit, were dismissed March 9 on prosecutor’s motion. Those charges include one count of operating a vehicle to flee/elude an officer and one count of bail jumping.

• Chad A. Spry, 40, Bonduel, was charged March 10 with one count of strangulation and suffocation, one count of using or attempting force to intimidate a victim, one count of child abuse, two misdemeanor counts of battery, one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Forest County Circuit Court Judge Leon Stenz set a cash bond of $1,000 and scheduled a resumed initial appearance for March 22.

• Chad E. Rockman, 29, Keshena, was charged March 10 with two counts of bail jumping. Stenz set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 6.
