• Scott A. Tainter, 40, Wittenberg, was charged Aug. 22 with one count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, one count of discharging a firearm in a school zone, one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Judge Katherine Sloma set a cash bond of $2,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 29.

• Kyle J. Rusch, 29, Shawano, was charged Aug. 22 with one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of theft of movable property, 12 counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a cash bond of $5,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 24.

• Tyson A. Peters, 29, Shawano, was charged Aug. 22 with one count of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property and one misdemeanor count of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a status conference for Sept. 7.

In another case, Peters was charged with one count of burglary, two counts of possession of narcotic drugs, four counts of bail jumping, 15 misdemeanor counts of theft of movable property, less than or equal to $2,500, and two misdemeanor counts of fraudulent use of a financial transaction card, less than or equal to $2,500. Sloma set a cash bond of $2,500 and scheduled a status conference for Sept. 7.

• Timothy H. Pehlke, 40, Clintonville, was charged Aug. 22 with one count of operating while intoxicated (fifth or sixth offense), one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked and one misdemeanor count of failing to install/tampering with a/violating a court ordered ignition interlock device. Sloma set a cash bond of $1,500 and scheduled an arraignment for Sept. 28.

• Cynthia J. Funderburg, 64, Clintonville, was charged Aug. 22 with one count of possession of methamphetamine, four counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a cash bond of $1,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 31.

• Charges against Aaron L. Jacobs, 54, Milwaukee, were dismissed Aug. 22 on prosecutor’s motion. That charge includes one count of bail jumping.

• Shane J. Schreiber, 42, Oconto, pleaded no contest to one count of possession of narcotic drugs. Sloma sentenced Schreiber to 12 months in jail.

• Ethan J. Novak, 31, Abbotsford, was charged Aug. 23 with one count of possession of non-narcotics, with intent, one count of possession of narcotic drugs and five counts of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $5,000 and scheduled an arraignment for Sept. 21.

• Robert W. Carey, 50, Shawano, was charged Aug. 23 with one count of first degree recklessly endangering safety, one count of strangulation and suffocation, one count of second degree recklessly endangering safety, two misdemeanor counts of battery, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and 18 misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond of $5,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Sept. 1.

• Sharon J. Rockman, 36, Wittenberg, was charged Aug. 23 with one count of possession of methamphetamine, six counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a cash bond of $2,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Sept. 2.

• Caitlynn J. Testolin, 29, Oconto Falls, was charged Aug. 25 with one count of bail jumping. Sloma set a cash bond for $250 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Sept. 13.

• Cookie L. Doxtator, 31, Gresham, was charged Aug. 25 with two counts of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor, or law enforcement officer, one count of strangulation and suffocation, two misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer, one misdemeanor count of battery and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Sloma set a cash bond of $3,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 31.

• Patrick A. White, 24, Keshena, was charged Aug. 25 with one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Sloma set a signature bond of $1,500 and scheduled a resumed initial appearance for Sept. 28.

• Valerie M. Moore, 40, Weyauwega, pleaded no contest Aug. 25 to one count of possession of methamphetamine. One misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia was dismissed, but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Moore to 90 days in jail.

• Alan J. Manislovich, 42, Bellevue, pleaded no contest Aug. 25 to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. One count of threats to injure/accuse of a crime was dismissed, but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Manislovich to 109 days in jail, which was deemed as served.

• John C. Tepiew, 37, Bowler, was charged Aug. 26 with one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), one misdemeanor count of operating without a valid license (second offense in three years) and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Judge William F. Kussel Jr. set a cash bond of $1,200 and scheduled a status conference for Oct. 11.

• Merle S. Pamonicutt, 36, Neopit, pleaded no contest Aug. 26 to one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. One count of misappropriating identification information was dismissed, but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Pamonicutt to 60 days in jail.
