Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court:

• Logan J. McGeshick-Savola, 20, Shawano, was sentenced by Judge William Kussel Jr., on April 6 to six months in jail on a felony count of theft. He pleaded no contest.

• Christopher J. Popp, 25, Bonduel, was sentenced by Judge William Kussel Jr., on April 28 to 45 days in jail on a felony count of domestic abuse-related strangulation and suffocation. Popp pleaded no contest.

• Laura A. Shidell, 39, Antigo, was charged April 27 with a felony count of misappropriating ID information to obtain money. She faces a maximum six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. Shidell is due in court for an initial appearance on June 29.

• Robert G. Gutman, 53, Shawano, was charged April 27 with a felony count of possession of a firearm by a felon and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. He faces a maximum 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted on the felony count. Gutman is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 29.

• Elizabeth M. Singh, 38, Antigo, was charged April 27 with a felony count of misappropriating ID information to obtain money. She faces a maximum six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. No court date has been set.

• Stone W. Lampinen, 20, Shawano, was charged April 27 with a felony count of possession of narcotic drugs. He faces a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted. Lampinen is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 29.

• Derek M. Hillis, 30, Cecil, was charged April 27 with a felony count of second or subsequent possession of marijuana. He faces a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted. Hillis is free on a $1,000 signature bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr., and is scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance on June 1.

• Kent R. Hessing, 44, Clintonville, was charged April 22 with six felony counts of bail jumping ad misdemeanor counts of domestic abuse-related battery and disorderly conduct. He faces a maximum 10 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted on each of the felony counts. Hessing is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 1.

• Joshua D. Alkula, 47, Shawano, was charged April 22 with felony counts of burglary and theft, and a misdemeanor count of theft by false representation. He faces a maximum 12 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted of burglary and six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of felony theft. Alkula is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 29.

• Lucas M. Hohn, 19, Iola, was charged April 22 with a felony count of burglary and misdemeanor counts of theft and criminal trespass to a dwelling. He faces a maximum 12 1/2 years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted of burglary. Hohn is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 29.

• Allisson S. Peters, 24, Wilson, Michigan, was charged April 21 with a felony count of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent. She faces a maximum six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. Peters is scheduled for an initial court appearance on June 15.
