Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court:

• Luke J. Sanford, 29, of Gresham, was charged Jan. 22 with a felony count of theft. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted. Sanford was scheduled for an initial court appearance Jan. 22. There was no further information available.

• Logan A. Korbisch, 36, of Rhinelander, was charged Jan. 22 with a felony count of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of operating after revocation. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted of the felony count. Korbisch posted a $500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Feb. 24.

• Mark R. Buettner, 49, of Gresham, was sentenced by Judge William Kussel Jr. on Jan. 22 to 45 days in jail as a condition of two years’ probation on a felony count of third-offense operating while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle. Buettner had pleaded no contest to the charge. Buettner’s license was also revoked for 28 months and will have to have an ignition interlock device on his vehicle for 28 months.

• Hunter S. Kleist, 25, of Pulaski, was charged Jan. 21 with felony counts of possession of narcotic drugs and methamphetamine and three felony counts of bail jumping. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine for each of the drug charges and six years and $10,000 fine on each of the bail jumping counts if found guilty. Kleist was ordered held on a $500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck. A scheduling conference in the case has been set for Jan. 27.

• John L. Anderson, 55, of Shawano, was charged Jan. 21 with a felony count of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of theft. He could face six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted on the felony count. Anderson was ordered held on a $500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is scheduled for an adjourned initial court appearance on Feb. 7.

• Keith M. Swetlik, 31, of Manitowoc, was charged Jan. 20 with felony counts of possession of narcotics drugs and bail jumping. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine on the drug charge and six years and $10,000 fine for bail jumping if found guilty. Swetlik is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Feb. 24.

• Bonifacio Dominguez Valdivia, 38, of Pulaski, was charged Jan. 20 with a felony count of domestic abuse-related intimidation of a victim/threat of force and misdemeanor counts of contact after a domestic abuse arrest and threatening injury or harm by computer message. He could face a maximum 10 years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted of the felony count. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Feb. 19.

• Anthony L. Doxtator, 42, of Bowler, was charged Jan. 17 with felony counts of second or subsequent possession of marijuana and bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine on of the felony drug charge and six years and $10,000 fine for bail jumping if found guilty. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance Jan. 27.

• Sunday D. Dixon, 34, of Neopit, was charged Jan. 17 with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine and two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine on the felony count if found guilty. Dixon is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Feb. 10.

• Vernon C. Bessette, 57, of Clintonville, was charged Jan. 17 with a felony count of domestic abuse-related strangulation and suffocation and misdemeanor counts of battery, disorderly conduct and bail jumping. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted of the felony count. Bessette was ordered held on a $500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance Feb. 17.

• Sapatis Webster, 39, of Neopit, was charged Jan. 17 with felony counts of burglary and theft and two misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property. He could face a maximum 12½ years in prison and a $25,000 fine for burglary if found guilty. Webster is free on a $1,000 signature bond set by Judge James Habeck. He is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance Feb. 17.

• Anyssa C.M. Ellwart, 17, of Bowler, was charged Jan. 16 with four felony counts of threats to injure or accuse of a crime and two misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. She could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted of each of the felony counts. There was no court date set as of Thursday.

• Kathryn M. Coel, 25, of Tigerton, was charged Jan. 16 with a felony count of forgery and a misdemeanor count of theft. She could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted on the felony count. Coel was scheduled for an initial court appearance on Feb. 3.

• Cruz S. Vasquez, 32, of Bowler, was charged Jan. 16 with a felony count of forgery and misdemeanor counts of theft and operating while revoked. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted on the felony count. He is scheduled for an initial court appearance Feb. 17.

• Ramona A. Waubanascum, 22, of Appleton, was sentenced by Judge James Habeck on Jan. 16 to 60 days in jail on a felony count of second or subsequent possession of marijuana. Waubanascum had pleaded no contest to the charge. A felony count of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed.
