Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court:

• Shawnee E. Gauthier, 44, of Keshena, was charged Sept. 4 with a felony count of possession of methamphetamine. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. Gauthier was ordered held on a $250 cash bond by Judge James Habeck and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Sept. 16.

• Geran D. Metko, 34, of Green Bay, was charged Sept. 3 with a felony count of fourth-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor count of operating a vehicle while revoked. He could face a maximum six years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted on the felony count. Metko was ordered held on a $500 cash bond and $2,000 signature bond by Judge James Habeck. His next court date was not set.

• Larry N. Wynveen, 76, of Shawano, was charged Aug. 30 with a felony count of second-degree recklessly endangering safety and misdemeanor counts of possessing a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct. He could face a maximum 10 years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted. Wynveen is free on a $5,000 signature bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr. He is scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance on Oct. 7.

• Dana J. Grignon, 49, of Neopit, was sentenced Aug. 28 by Judge William Kussel Jr. to 12 months in jail as a condition of three years’ probation on a felony count of second-offense operating while intoxicated/causing injury. Grignon had pleaded no contest to the charge. He was also ordered to undergo an alcohol assessment and install an ignition interlock device.

• Marshall L. Tyler, 25, of Keshena, received a withheld sentence of one year’s probation Aug. 28 on a felony count of fleeing an officer in a vehicle. He was also ordered by Judge James Habeck to undergo an alcohol or other drug abuse evaluation and follow-through.

• Joshua J. Arnold, 39, currently incarcerated at Dodge Correctional Institution in Waupun, was sentenced Aug. 27 by Judge James Habeck to 10 months in jail on a felony count of burglary. Arnold had pleaded no contest. A misdemeanor count of theft was dismissed under the plea agreement.

• Matthew J. Otto, 46, of Shawano, received a withheld sentence of 18 months’ probation Aug. 28 on two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. A felony count of child abuse-intentionally causing harm was dismissed. Otto pleaded no contest to the misdemeanor counts. He was also ordered by Judge William Kussel Jr. to psychological and domestic abuse assessments and follow-through, receive anger management counseling and take a parenting class.
