Oakland City

Bowler High School graduate Reanne Kietlinski continued to put up solid numbers despite the Oakland City University women’s basketball team dropping a pair of games over the past week.

In a 78-65 loss to Grace Christian on Feb. 8, Kietlinski totaled 14 points, two steals, one block, two assists and five rebounds in 30 minutes of action. Kietlinski knocked down five field goals, including two 3-pointers, and added two free throws.

In the team’s 92-58 loss to Indiana University-Southeast on Feb. 6, Kietlinski tallied six points, a steal, two assists and two rebounds in 32 minutes. She hit two field goals and added two free throws.

Oakland City has just two remaining regular-season games scheduled and will carry a 6-14 record into its next contest on Feb. 22. The Oaks have lost five in a row.

UW-River Falls

Bowler graduate Allison Stewart, who competed on the Gresham/Bowler co-op in high school, ran in two events for the UW-River Falls women’s track and field team at the Ted Nelson Classic on Feb. 8 in Mankato, Minnesota.

Stewart posted a time of 8.25 seconds in the 60-meter dash preliminaries before posting a time of 8.28 in the 60 qualifier.

Stewart placed 41st in the 200 with a time of 27.86.
