College Highlights (Dec. 11)

Iowa Central

Shawano Community High School graduate Demetrius Kaquatosh was named a NJCAA Cross-Country Coaches Association D1 All-American after his freshman season on the Iowa Central Community College men’s cross-country team.

To cap the season, Kaquatosh placed 24th at the NJCAA Men’s Cross-Country Championships to help his team to a national championship.

Oakland City

Bowler graduate Reanne Kietlinski hit a 3-pointer during nine minutes of game action for the Oakland City women’s basketball team in its 76-60 loss to St. Francis on Nov. 17 in Oakland City, Indiana.

The team’s next six games were either canceled or postponed.
