Clintonville woman arrested after incident with knife
CLINTONVILLE — An intoxicated Clintonville woman was arrested Thursday morning after a domestic disturbance involving a knife, according to the Clintonville Police Department.
Police responded to a 911 call from a residence on Anne Street just before 6 a.m.
The caller stated she was threatened with a knife.
Police arrived at the residence to find a man and woman who had been arguing.
Both parties were questioned and it was determined that the woman had made a series of small stab wounds to the man’s shoulder. The injuries were not life-threatening and the man refused medical treatment.
The woman was arrested for domestic violence-related battery and injury by negligent handling of a dangerous weapon.
Charges were not filed as of Thursday afternoon. There was no further information available.
