Carol J. Schliep

Carol J. Schliep, 68, Abrams, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, due to complications from surgery at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Carol was born June 8, 1952, to Alfred and Gladys (Church) Schliep. Carol worked at New View Industries for 33 years. Even through her battle with arthritis, it did not hold her back from coloring, writing, and sewing, her favorite hobbies, and her love for sharing. She was an avid Pepsi, Packers, Mickey Mouse and stationery fan. She will be remembered for her generosity and concern for others.

Carol is survived by her sister, Sharon Payne, and her brother, Greggory (Diane) Schliep; nieces, Roxanne (Jeff) Payne, Taylor, Grace and Ivy and Kimberly (Wyatt) Schliep; and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Rollin Payne.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2020. Graveside services will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Brookside Cemetery by the Rev. Matt Stuebs. Online condolences may be expressed at www.gallagherfuneralhome.net.
