Hofa Park and Freedom opened the summer Dairyland League season, with Hofa Park cruising to a home win in seven innings on Sunday.

Tyler Jacobson led Hofa Park at the plate, posting three hits, driving in a run and scoring twice. Jacobson also earned a win on the mound, striking out five batters over four innings.

Rob Schuettpelz chipped in three hits for Hofa Park, while Carson Williquette drove in four runs on two hits. Bob Tilot hit a two-run homer.

Hunter Schabo scored Freedom’s lone run on a sixth-inning single by Evan Allen.
