Northern Division

Birnamwood 11

Wittenberg 8

Birnamwood knocked off Wittenberg in a July 7 clash in Wittenberg.

Brian Rew posted three of Birnamwood’s 10 hits in the contest. Austin Reed was the winning pitcher.

Wittenberg tallied 12 hits as a team, with Pierson Potrykus posting four knocks. Eric Steigerwald, Dominic Anderson and Will Urquhart all had two hits. Anderson was dealt the loss on the mound.

Hatley 5

Aniwa 1

Hatley topped Aniwa on July 9 in Aniwa.

Kodie Kocher and Tanner Kocher each posted two hits for Hatley, while Wyatt Brown homered. Kody Szews was the winning pitcher.

John Breske took the loss on the mound for Aniwa, which posted seven hits at the plate.

Antigo/Polar 11

Elderon 0

Antigo/Polar eased past Elderon in a July 9 matchup in Elderon.

Antigo/Polar’s Isaac Bixby and Jed Weix each homered among their three hits, while AJ Kirsch and Nick Marshall homered among their two knocks. Eli Fleischman posted two hits, while Will Kubeny also homered.

Nick Marshall picked up the win, while Casey Kerstner was dealt the loss.

Bryce Zoromski tallied two of Elderon’s six hits.

East-West Division

Clintonville 11

Marion 4

Clintonville took down Marion in a July 7 clash in Marion.

Jordan Koeppen drove in three runs on three hits to power Clintonville at the plate. Keenan Doornink and Turner Doornink each drove in a pair, while Keenan Doornink and Aaron Morse posted two knocks each.

Brock Smejkal got the win on the hill after working 6⅓ innings. Joe Weyenberg took the loss after working six frames.

Nick Schoen and Mitch Elandt each posted two hits for Marion, with Schoen also driving in a pair.

Tigerton 4

Little Falls 2

Tigerton doubled up Little Falls in a July 9 battle in Little Falls.

Justin Sivertson homered and drove in two runs for Tigerton, while Jaden Sivertson added two hits. Paul Sellner earned the win on the mound after striking out eight in a complete game effort.

Kal Fischer homered and drove in a pair for Little Falls, while Kasey Morgan also had two knocks. Carter Kurki took the loss after pitching five innings. Chris Dunn worked the final four frames.

Neopit 13

Leopolis 1 (7 inn.)

Neopit rolled past Leopolis in a July 9 contest in Leopolis.

Jamison Besaw and Ashton Corn led Neopit with three hits each, while Mike Pecore, Pete Bruette and Ray Lemieux had two knocks each.

Bruette also earned the win on the mound for Neopit.

Ryan Malueg was dealt the loss. Alex Zimmerman had Leopolis’ only hit.

Caroline 20

Tilleda 2

Caroline eased past Tilleda in a July 9 game in Caroline.

Mike Weatherwax, Tyler Marquardt, Cole Rosenow, Braiden Behnke, Klay Finger and Klay Barkow all recorded two hits for Caroline. Jack Yeager belted a homer.

Barkow earned the win on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings.

Brad Bartz homered for one of Tilleda’s two hits. Zach Fehrman took the loss on the hill.

Gresham earns forfeit win

Gresham earned a forfeit win over Shawano in a game that was scheduled for July 9 in Gresham.

Shawano could not field a full team.

South Central Division

Scandinavia sweeps doubleheader

Scandinavia earned 7-1 and 6-1 wins over Green Lake in a doubleheader on July 9 in Scandinavia.

Ben Lee earned the win on the hill in game one for Scandinavia after striking out 11 batters, while Cyle Zblewski got the save. Gus Turner-Zick and Sterling Lutz tallied two hits each and Landon Moe drove in a pair.

In game two, Marcus Jaworski picked up the win, while Moe got the save. Turner-Zick tripled and drove in two runs.

Christian Wuss was dealt the loss for Green Lake in game one, while Hunter Netzler took the loss in game two.

Plover wins 2 against Weymont

Plover earned 4-3 and 12-0 wins over Weymont in a July 9 doubleheader in Weymont.

Wyatt Blaskowski led Plover with three hits in the game one win. Aidan Jastromski was the winning pitcher.

Blaskowski got the win in game two. Kevin Jastromski, Gavin Renwick and Josh Marcione all posted two hits at the plate, with Marcione also driving in three runs.

Weymont’s Collin Jorgensen was dealt the loss in game one. Trevor Wetzel led the team with two hits. Dylan Anadell was the losing pitcher in game two.
