Athlete Profile: Raymond Fish

Senior served as leader on court for Eagles

KESHENA — The Menominee Indian High School boys basketball team wrapped up a solid season on Tuesday, but not before giving its senior players plenty of memories to cherish. Raymond Fish was one of those seniors.

Fish was a captain for the team, which reached double-digit wins.

The senior averaged about nine points, four rebounds, three assists and nearly two steals per game. Fish scored in double figures eight times, scoring a season-high 19 points against Green Bay West on Feb. 10.

Despite the team dropping its playoff game to Bonduel on Tuesday, Fish tallied 17 points.

“Raymond has been tremendous for us on both sides of the floor, but more importantly in the locker room,” said Menominee Indian coach James Oshkeshequoam. “He’s been able to take on a very important role as senior captain. His teammates have responded well to him and it’s been a pleasure to witness his growth as a young man.”
