Amanda Redmann to join Shawano Hall of Fame

Amanda Redmann attended Shawano High School from 1998-2002.

Redmann was a three-year participant and three-year letterwinner in volleyball. She played middle hitter/blocker. In her sophomore season, she earned all-conference honorable mention honors.

As a junior, she led her team to a 16-2 record and a Bay Conference Championship. The team advanced to the regional finals. She was a unanimous first-team all-conference selection and was named the Bay Conference Player of the Year. She was named the team Most Valuable Player and was selected to the Press-Gazette All-Area First Team.

In her senior season, she was the team captain and was selected first-team all-conference and Press-Gazette All-Area Second Team.

In basketball, Redmann earned varsity letters in each of her four seasons. As a power forward, she was named second team all-conference in both her sophomore and junior season.

As a senior, she was named team captain and was honored as team Co-MVP. She earned all-conference honorable mention honors.

After high school, Redmann attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and played volleyball there for two years, winning a national championship. She earned her degree in 2006 and began her career as an applications developer. She has been employed by the Menominee Indian Tribe for the past 11 years. She has also been involved in running the family business, J&H Game Farm.

Redmann continues to live in the Shawano area with her son, Dominick, and stepdaughter, Ava.
