Stevens Point scored three goals in each half en route to a 6-1 home victory over Shawano.

Pulaski 1, Manitowoc Lincoln 0

Ellie Mangold scored Pulaski’s only goal, but that was enough for a 1-0 win over Manitowoc Lincoln.

Peighton Brandenburg made two saves for the Red Raiders.

Shawano tennis team shuts out Green Bay East

Shawano 7, Green Bay East 0

Every Shawano individual and duo won their matches in a 7-0 shut out of Green Bay East.

Andrew Vandenheuvel won 6-0, 6-1 in the top singles match, followed by Benjamin Langlois winning 6-2, 6-3, Cristian Hernandez winning 6-1, 6-0, and Ryan Buerman shutting out his opponent 6-0, 6-0. Tristan Tetting and Isaac Welander won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

At No. 3 doubles, Domenic Badalamenti and Mason Sparks won by default, 2-0, 2-0.

The Hawks improved to 6-7.

Bonduel tops Shiocton, Shawano downs Green Bay East/West

Bonduel 5, Shiocton 1

Bonduel started off the game the same way as the last time against Shiocton by scoring a run in the first inning.

However, they padded their lead by scoring three in the fifth on three singles in a row and a sac fly. After Shiocton scored one in the fifth, the Bears answered with a solo run in the sixth for the 5-1 final score.

Cade Johnson was sharp on the mound, getting the Chiefs to swing early in count in the complete game win.

Shiocton 10, Bonduel 9

Shiocton jumped out to an 8-2 lead after the first inning and held on from there to beat Bonduel 10-9.

Shiocton scored another two runs in the second inning to take a 10-2 lead.

Five runs by the Bears in the third inning and another two in the fourth made it 10-9.

Manawa 8, Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5

Manawa used a big seven-run third inning to defeat Wittenberg-Birnamwood 8-5.

Sheboygan North tennis team defeats Pulaski

Sheboygan North 5, Pulaski 2

Pulaski tennis players won at No. 3 and No. 4 singles in their 5-2 loss to Sheboygan North.

At No. 3, Aran Capella defeated Frankie Quasius 6-0, 6-2. Then, Donovan Holderness defeated Will Rollins 6-2, 6-7 (5), 10-6.

Justin Freadrich and Ryan Symons lost their singles matches.

All three doubles teams also lost. The duos were Jeffrey Sanders and Henry Piczkowski, Nathan Maroszek and Oscar Delmarcelle, and Jonah Drevs and William Gosse.

Central Wisconsin Conference Mini Meet

Bonduel won the latest CWC Meet with 336 strokes, topping Wittenberg-Birnamwood’s 356 second place. Marion’s 401 tied for fifth place and Menominee Indian/Gresham’s 515 finished in 10th place.

The mini meet was held at Glacier Wood Golf Club in Iola.

Colin Fischer was the medalist, leading the field and his Bonduel teammates with a 77. Jake Dreyer was next with an 82, followed by Jaxon Bogacz with an 85 and Reed Luepke with a 92. Sam Wolf carded a 100.

Pulaski boys lacrosse team shut out by Bay Port

Pulaski’s boys lacrosse team dropped to 0-2 in the Fox River Classic Conference after a 21-0 thrashing at the hands of Bay Port. The Red Raiders are 0-12 overall.

Shawano soccer team shut out by Menasha

Wittenberg-Birnamwood Lions Invite

The Wittenberg-Birnamwood girls won their home Lions Invite, with the Bonduel boys finishing second, the best among area teams and just five points behind Edgar.

Winning for the Chargers were Nora Bushman in the 800-meter run, Faith Resch in the 100-meter hurdles and the triple jump, the 4x400-meter relay team and the 4x800 team.
